Pickerings Plant Hire is a Private limited Company, incorporated in 1969, with our head office based in Leicestershire.The company specialise in the hire of both Non Operated Plant and Anti Vandalism Site Accommodation.
Our customer base includes Small Local Builders,House Builders,Civil Engineers,Demolition Contractors and all aspects of the Construction industry.
We also provide services to specialised industry´s which include local Authorities, Enviroment Agency´s, Utility Providers and Various Types of Service Industries.
Operating out of nine Hire centre across the UK Pickerings Plant only stock the most recognised brands of plant equipment.
These brands include JCB and Manitou Forklifts, Thwaits and Terex Dumpers,Bomag And Benford Rollers and Kubota Mini Diggers.
All our mechanical plant and equipment is serviced and repaired by our in house engineers who are trained to the highest standard.
All equipment on site is inspected or serviced on a 8 w/k basis to help reduce breakdowns and costly downtime.
All our site accommodation is designed and constructed to provide the maximum security while still providing a comfortable surrounding for your staff.
All site accommodation which includes Secure Stores,Canteens,Offices and Toilets both Portable and Mains, are supplied and delivered to site using our own fleet of crane operated vehicles. All delivery personal are fully certificated to the highest standard offering both fast and efficient service but not compromising on safety.
We also have a vast range of Welfare Accommodation for hire both Mobile and Static.
All our welfare units are fully HSE Compliant and we are constantly updating these units to keep up with current legislation.
