With so much sandwich competition on the High Street these days, you have to have something a bit special about you to build up a successful sandwich business.
Bunnies tea-shop opened by Terri Pucill in April 1998 and has established a wide range of services, including a healthy eating café and take-away offering freshly prepared food, smoothies, and a wide choice of tea’s fair-trade coffee and cold drinks. Breakfast is popular and available all day. Bunnies also offer excellent service and a great atmosphere.
We make our sandwiches, rolls and baguettes freshly by hand each day from naturally wholesome and delicious ingredients. In winter our soups are made freshly every morning. Great tasting food that’s good for you.
Sandwiches include standards such as B.L.T, Mature cheddar and chutney, bacon brie and sweet chilli sauce, coronation chicken as well as all the old favourites.
For the more adventurous there’s a wide range of daily specials including fillings like tuna melt, mozzarella and roasted peppers and not forgetting our Panini’s, jacket potatoes (try the bacon and stilton or bacon cheese and onion ) or our daily roast.
What makes us different is that we are first and foremost a Café not a factory churning out hundreds of plastic sandwiches each day. This also means that our customers can order whatever they fancy, a healthy salad or a filling like cheese and marmite, we can also deliver to local businesses.
Terri is passionate about food and her numerous awards for cooking demonstrates this, amongst her awards are pub pie competition, kitchen master challenge and a Deli-France sandwich competition. Terri has engineered some of the best sandwiches around using wonderful ingredients that speak for themselves.
The tea-room is compact but ideal for small intimate private parties or just somewhere to take the weight of your feet or meet up with friends over a cappuccino or layered latte with a generous slice of carrot cake. The home-made crumble always goes down well on a cold winter’s day
Bunnies also can provide buffets for small parties, funerals, or office lunches.
