The Parade:
Whether you´re a group of people, a few friends or just yourself, there is an opportunity for everyone to join in the fun of being in the parade. The theme for 2010 is ‘Colours of Nations´, so please use your own creative talents to design something that will put a smile on everyone´s face. How about a French onion seller, an Irish Leprechaun, a Spanish Dancer, the list goes on and on, but make sure you confirm your place by entering your details on the attached entry form.

Stalls & Trade Pitches:
The event organisers are now inviting any parties interested in taking a stall / pitch to register with them as soon as possible. Our aim is to offer people attending the festival a diverse mix of stalls, with a mixture of trades, crafts, demonstrations, promotions and local charities/societies and associations having pitches. We also welcome applications from vendors selling ice-cream, hot and cold food to be consumed on the festival site and non alcoholic refreshment throughout the day. Preference will be given to those stalls that are in keeping with the theme of the National Forest. We hope, with your help, to make this a bigger and even better event than last year, where over 8,000 people experienced an exceptionally well organised event. It is extremely likely that attendance figures for 2010 will exceed this. Anyone or any organisation can now book one of the following pitches (90 in total). Each measures 3m x 10m, divided into a 3m x 3m frontage for the stall + 3m x 7m for 1 vehicle.

High St Businesses (*New for 2010):
The Heart of the Forest Festival would like every High St business, especially those passed by the Parade, to join in with the spirit of the Festival and decorate their businesses accordingly. As per previous years the High St will be adorned in bunting, and for this year will also include flags, so imagine the scene if we can engage all the High St businesses as well.
The committee will also judge all of the decorated businesses to select the winning entries. Prizes and certificates will be issued (Further information on judging and prizes will be issued soon).
